Radu brings over 20 years of coaching experience across every level of the game, from beginner adults to provincial, national, and internationally ranked juniors. He is a CP3 Certified coach, WTA Silver Level Coach, and registered WTA Tennis Agent.

Before joining Mega Courts, Radu served as Director of Tennis at Tournament Park Tennis Club in Toronto for nine years, where he developed and managed a full tennis program at one of the city’s premier club environments.

Over the past decade, Radu has coached and managed professional athletes competing on the ATP, WTA, Challenger, and Futures tours. His experience includes coaching Elitsa Kostova at the 2018 Roland Garros Grand Slam and during the 2017 Indian Wells BNP Paribas Open. He also worked  with Mihaela Buzarnescu at the 2018 Australian Open, and coached and supported Valentini Grammatikopoulou at the 2022 National Bank Open and during her singles title win at the WTA Vancouver 125K.

Radu has also worked with Maja Chwalińska in 2018 - the 2026 Roland Garros Singles Finalist and holds several advanced coaching certifications, including Club Pro 3 — a designation held by only 31 coaches in Canada. He also holds Club Pro 1, Club Pro 2, Cardio Tennis Professional, Wheelchair Tennis, and PTR certifications.

Radu’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Business Management from Durham College.
